Silicon Valley tech giants said they were working to remove videos and other content associated with the deadly terrorist attacks on two mosques in New Zealand on Friday, in the latest instance of disturbing content being spread on social media.
Authorities said 49 people are dead and four people are in custody, including a man in his late 20s who has been charged with murder. The shootings in the city of Christchurch were live-streamed on Facebook, and a Euro-centric, right-wing manifesto was posted online.
