Disneyland’s much anticipated new Star Wars:Galaxy’s Edge land will open to the public May 31, Disney Chairman Bob Iger announced Thursday morning, March 7,  during the company’s annual shareholder meeting in St. Louis, Missouri, 165 miles from Marceline, Missouri, where Walt Disney was raised on a farm.
