The first in a series of storms expected to impact the Bay Area over the next several days arrived in the region early Friday morning with light rain, and showers are expected to increase later in the day, according to the National Weather Service.
A second storm is expected Saturday night into Sunday, with snow levels in the Bay Area lowering to 1,500 to 2,000 feet. Long-range models suggest a third storm Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
