One of the banes about dealing with Twitter is that there are times when a thread of tweets can go on and on for so long that it becomes difficult to know just who started this string of snarkiness and yelling and complaining that you have spent 15 minutes or more scrolling through.

Well, Twitter is taking a step to try and make it a little easier for you to identify the originator of a tweet thread, in the event that it isn’t obvious. The company is testing a new tag that appears under a tweeter’s name and leaves no doubt that person is the original tweeter who started the tweetstorm.
