On Dec. 13, participants will have the opportunity to view a Geminid Meteor Show hosted by Durham Parks and Recreation in partnership with the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center.

The viewing will take place at Durham Parks and Recreation's new Environmental Education Pavilion located in the historic West Point on the Eno at 5253 N. Roxboro Road. Festivities will begin at 8 p.m. and go on until Friday morning at 3 a.m.
