Rice University to break ground on new School of Social Sciences building

Rice University will break ground later this summer on a new social sciences building, named the Patricia Lipoma Kraft ’87 and Jonathan A. Kraft Hall for Social Sciences after the lead donors.
The university expects the construction to be completed within 14 to 16 months, around November of 2019, with students and faculty occupying the building during the spring 2020 semester. The contractor for the project is Tellepsen Builders and the architect for the project is Rogers Partners, both based in Houston.
