Now I know what your thinking. “Huh?” and “What is he on about?” spring to mind. I mean, one is a physical activity that requires you to climb around and put your body in crazy positions, whilst the other has you sat at your desk and your mind doing more twists and turns as you try to figure a problem out! The chances of them being anywhere near alike seem minimal.

However, in many ways, both have a lot of similar aspects to them, including putting your mind in twists and turns! Climbing has been one of my favourite activities to do since I started way back in my late teens at Atlantic College and getting back into it this year along with coding has made me see these similarities. When I say climbing, I mainly mean bouldering.
