On Tuesday Google announced Cloud Build, a new continuous delivery platform for building, delivering and testing cloud-based applications.

According to Google, Cloud Build is designed to work within a variety of environments, including Kubernetes, Firebase, serverless and virtual machines. It has built-in integration for Kubernetes Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions and Firebase, plus the company recommends "Spinnaker with Cloud Build for creating and executing complex pipelines."
