For those of you who are hoping for an excuse to drink wine and code, I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I doubt your development quality will go up after a few glasses of wine.

I do believe that having a better understand of wine can change how you think about writing code. Wine appreciation requires scientific knowledge, engineering discipline, and artistic creativity. The same skills required to write high quality software!
