A job opening posted by Blizzard on its official website seeks a developer for an “unannounced Diablo project,” kicking up anticipation among that game’s faithful that something new is on the way.

The listing is rather specific that Blizzard needs a dungeon artist “to build atmospheric dungeons.” Who knows what Blizzard is working on, whether it’s a sequel, expansion or a spinoff, but this doesn’t sound like a mobile game or similar derivative. We’ve emailed Blizzard to ask for more information but it’s unlikely they would up and confirm a new game based off a job listing alone. The project could be years from completion, anyway.
