Bethesda has announced Doom Eternal, the sequel to the 2016 shooter. Executive producer Marty Stratton and creative director Hugo Martin said the game would take everything that the previous game did and push it forward, making the Doomslayer more powerful than ever, doubling the amount of enemies, and bringing hell to Earth.

Sadly, there wasn't any gameplay, but Stratton said that Bethesda and id Software would show off the game, specifically the new features being added, at the next Quakecon. Based on the trailer though, it looks like all the essentials will be featured in the game: gruesome looking enemies, a shredding soundtrack, and gore.
