At the Xbox E3 2018 conference, Rare showed a trailer for the next steps in Sea of Thieves’ development. The trailer shows two new characters, a pirate adventurer and a representative from the Order of Souls, and showcases the next two expansions: Cursed Sails in July, and Forbidden Shores in September.

This trailer confirms the release months for both expansions, and gives us a hint of what’s to come for both content pack. Cursed Sails will populate the seas with skeleton crews (the undead kind, not the understaffed sort), and Forbidden Shores will open up the map.
