Metro: Exodus’ E3 2018 trailer shows the series expanding beyond the claustrophobic tunnels and radiated cityscapes of its predecessors.

Most of the country has been destroyed by enemies, according to the trailer, as people fight to defend their world. The trailer showed off some of the weaponry that players will be able to use in the game, as well as locations they’ll be able to visit. Gigantic sea monsters and “dangerous fanatics” appear throughout the trailer, giving fans a taste of what’s to come. Most of the trailer takes place above ground, and really dives into the game’s beauty.
