The highly anticipated action roleplaying game Kingdom Hearts III will now release on January 29th, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as announced today by Square Enix during the KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra World Tour event.

That’s a little later than fans were expecting, as the game was previously scheduled to launch in 2018. Still, the game was first announced five years ago at E3 2013 and fans are quite used to delays by now. Game Director Tetsuya Nomura posted this brief apology message:
