At the EA Play presentation during E3 2018, the company took a few moments to outline its roadmap for the future of Star Wars Battlefront II. After acknowledging the game had a "rough start" when it released last November, design director Dennis Brannvall said EA remains committed to the title. To that end, he explained what's coming next for the Star Wars shooter: the iconic Clone Wars.
This year, Battlefront 2 will get a load of new content based on the prequel conflict, including several new heroes and villains, as well as iconic locations from the Clone Wars setting. The content will kick off with Geonosis, which EA says will feature "multiple levels," including the largest one it has ever designed for the game. Additionally, General Grevious, Count Dooku, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Anakin Skywalker are all slated to arrive in Battlefront II as new Heroes.
