Sonic the Hedgehog is heading to the race track later this year for Team Sonic Racing, a new arcade-style racing game from developer Sumo Digital. Team Sonic Racing is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One this winter, Sega announced today.

Team Sonic Racing, which Sega teased in March, will focus on team-based races, as its title suggests. Teams will compete in races of up to 12 players, and Sega promises online multiplayer and local co-op modes, including four-player split-screen.
