Battlefield 5 won’t offer the premium pass that was sold alongside Battlefield 1, as EA and DICE want to keep the community unified by playing the same content.
The game will launch alongside a living service called Tides of War, which will give every player the new maps, modes and expansion content as soon as it’s released, without any of the content being sold separately after launch.
