However, on Monday night around 8 p.m. ET, Epic tweeted that the game’s newest update, patch v4.2, would be delayed, “we’ve discovered an issue that’s going to delay the release of v4.2 ... We’ll update you once we have a more accurate time frame.” >Originally set to launch on early this morning, Epic wasn’t able to commit to any kind of schedule for when players could expect this newest patch. Thankfully, the answer came just under 12 hours after the patch was originally set to go live: Epic tweeted that patch v4.2 will be available Wednesday, May 16, with maintenance happening at the regular time: 4 a.m. ET.
