An Electronic Arts executive may have outed the sales picture for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to date, which is never a good thing for a third-party publisher to do, even one of EA’s stature.

In yesterday’s call with investors, Blake Jorgensen, the chief financial officer for EA, was asked about EA’s addressable market — that is, the space where it’s selling games. Jorgensen said that EA expected an installation base of 130 million “current generation” consoles at the end of this year, up from 103 million at the end of 2017.
