The Flame in the Flood puts you in a river environment with very little land and simply asks you to survive. To do so, you have to keep your hunger, thirst, temperature, exhaustion level, and injuries at bay. Unfortunately, the islands you find are small and offer few resources. That means you're always drifting onward, pulled by the current and scrounging for the resources you need to stay alive.
