Atomic Heart’s first full trailer was recently released, and the first we’ve seen from Moscow-based developer Mundfish since it dropped a teaser trailer in July 2017. The first-person shooter is set in an alternate-universe Soviet Union of the 1960s-70s. The main character, P-3, a special agent of the Soviet government, is sent to investigate facility #3826 after it goes dark.
The game looks like someone scrapped BioShock, Fallout and Metro 2033 for parts, while also looking like its own bizarre thing. Flying drones and undead enemies intermingle with clown-robots and some sort of fluid tentacle creature. The trailer hints at horrors and secrets without showing all its cards, like with the briefest flash of a terrifying Hieronymus Bosch-esque yeti.
