God of War now has the distinction of being the highest-rated PlayStation 4 exclusive, based on aggregate scores at GameSpot sister site Metacritic ahead of its release this Friday. It ties The Last of Us Remastered for an aggregate of 95, but God of War has a larger pool of scores--as of time of writing, 89 to TLU's 69. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End rounds out the top three with an aggregate 93.

This result almost makes God of War the best-reviewed PlayStation 4 game overall, but that spot belongs to Grand Theft Auto V. It stands at a 97, where it's unlikely to be shaken anytime soon.
