Sony's next big PS4 exclusive, God of War, is quickly approaching. The action game arrives partway through April, and ahead of its release, Sony has shared a developer video update that sheds some more light on Kratos's new weapon for this adventure.

Unlike previous games, PS4's God of War serves as a sort of reboot for the series, setting itself apart from past entries by introducing elements of Norse mythology and, most notably, Kratos's son Atreus. Another major difference is Kratos's choice of weapon; rather than once again wielding his iconic blades, he instead takes up the Leviathan Axe.
