A new update for the Xbox One edition of PUBG has been released this week, and it makes some significant changes. Included in the big new update are requested bug fixes, Game DVR support, and, perhaps most notably, the removal of a single starting area for all players.

Now, PUBG has multiple pre-match starting locations. The issue before was that, with 100 players in the same area, PUBG's performance dropped on the server and client sides. Additionally, all weapons have been removed from the starting locations.
