Ubisoft has big plans for Far Cry 5 post-launch. In addition to the previously announced add-ons that will send players to Mars, Vietnam and a zombie-infested wasteland, Ubisoft is giving them the opportunity to make their own content with the game’s ambitious map editor, Far Cry Arcade.
Far Cry Arcade will let players create their own solo, co-op and competitive PvP levels in Far Cry 5. Ubisoft said the map editor will include more than 7,000 different objects that players can use to customize their levels with. That includes content borrowed from Far Cry 5’s campaign, as well as other Ubisoft games: Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Unity and Watch Dogs. Eventually, content from Far Cry 5’s DLC expansions (those Vietnamese jungles, Martian arachnids and zombies) will also be added to the mix.
