Ubisoft announced the first details about Outbreak earlier this week, and now the publisher has shared a cryptic trailer that sheds more light on the mysterious threat that awaits players. >Outbreak is a free event that's much different from anything else in Rainbow Six Siege. The event is set in the town of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, which has been quarantined after the outbreak of "an infestation of unknown origin." As the above trailer reveals, the infestation is actually the Apex parasite, which has come to Truth or Consequences via a mysterious space capsule that crashed near the town. Those who are infected by the parasite turn into monsters, and it falls to players to keep it from breaking out of the quarantine zone.
