A new Fable game is currently in the works, Eurogamer reports based on sources close to the brand-new project.

Apparently, Microsoft has appointed Forza Horizon developer Playground Games to develop a new game in the series, but development on the title is still in its early stages. “We’ve heard the new Fable is planned as a story and character-focused open-world action RPG”, Eurogamer writes. “A significant investment in its development is also planned, with some 200 people set to work on the game at Playground’s newly-established second office in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.”
