2017 may be over and done with, but the industry is not finished celebrating the year's games just yet. The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has announced the nominees for the 21st D.I.C.E. Awards, which will take place in Las Vegas in February.

Sony's Horizon: Zero Dawn led the way with 10 total nominations, including a nod for Game of the Year. The other Game of the Year nominees were Cuphead, PUBG, Super Mario Odyssey, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Other games that received multiple nominations this year included Breath of the Wild (6), Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (6), Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (6), Cuphead (5), Gorogoa (4), PUBG (4), Super Mario Odyssey (4). In all, 68 games were nominated for this year's D.I.C.E. Awards.
