The NPD Group hasn’t publicly released their full November sales report yet, but The Wall Street Journal’s Sarah Needleman has revealed NPD sales figures for the month’s two highest-profile games, Activision’s (NASDAQ:ATVI 62.43 1.40%) Call of Duty: WWII and EA’s (NASDAQ:EA 105.27 0.86%) Star Wars Battlefront II. Turns out one game did much better than the other:
“US console video game sales rose 9 percent in November from a year ago to $842 million, led by Call of Duty: WWII, with 4.4 million sold, according to NPD. But it was a disappointing month for Electronic Arts, whose high-profile Star Wars Battlefront II, sold just 882,000 units.”
