Activision has released a new preview video for Call of Duty: WWII's first expansion, Resistance, which launches early next year. In the video, developers from Sledgehammer Games talk about the new multiplayer maps, as well as the next War Mode map and the new Nazi Zombies content. According to Sledghammer boss Michael Condrey, Resistance is the "biggest, most exciting" expansion content that Sledgehammer has ever made.

The expansion includes three new multiplayer maps, Valkyrie, Anthropoid, and Occupation. That last one is a remake of the Modern Warfare 3 map, Resistance. They are all themed around the idea of resistance, Sledgehammer said. For example, Valkyrie takes place near the bunker where the failed real-life mission to kill Hitler, Operation Valkyrie, took place. Anthropoid, meanwhile, is set in occupied Prague during Operation Anthropoid.
