Today marks the first anniversary of Final Fantasy XV, and Square Enix commemorated the occasion with a special Active Time Report livestream. Along with announcing that the game's December update will allow players to switch characters, the stream revealed that Square Enix plans to release more DLC episodes for Final Fantasy XV next year.

Thus far, two DLC episodes have been released for Final Fantasy XV, with a third one--Episode Ignis--scheduled to arrive in December. While that marks the end of the game's announced content, Square Enix plans to release more DLC episodes throughout 2018. During the Japanese Active Time Report stream (via Gematsu), game director Hajime Tabata said he would like to release "at least three" more episode-style DLC chapters for Final Fantasy XV during the course of the year.
