The Game Awards nominees are in for 2017, and they are a preview of just how great of a year it was for video games.

Four of 2017’s biggest games — The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Horizon Zero Dawn, Destiny 2 and Super Mario Odyssey — each received six nominations. Those were followed by strong showings from Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice (five nominations), Persona 5 (four nominations), Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus (four nominations), Cuphead (four nominations) and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (three nominations). Nintendo, in a hot race with itself for many of the awards, took home 23 nominations, the most for any publisher.
