Video games companies reporting increased revenue shouldn’t be a large surprise now. Two days ago we reported increased revenue from Konami (TYO:9766 5,990.00 2.04%) and Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:EA 113.20 0.45%). Today, we look at Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ:ATVI 63.20 -3.44%).

In what is a general trend for the company, they have seen year on year growth as well as huge growth on guidance. Base revenue has come in at $1.62b with earnings per share (EPS) of $0.47. Adjusted for deferrals, revenue is actually $1.9b with EPS of $0.60. This is significantly higher than guidance of $1.7b and $0.45 EPS. It also beat analysts’ estimates of $1.74b and $0.49.
