AMD Radeon boss Raja Koduri joins Intel to work on integrated and 'discrete' graphics

Intel just announced that ex-AMD Radeon boss Raja Koduri has joined its ranks as chief architect of a newly formed team called the "Core and Visual Computing Group" and will also act as General Manager.
Koduri announced just yesterday in a lengthy letter to employees that he was leaving the Radeon Technology group at AMD after a long sabbatical earlier this year. He will now head up the new group at Intel, specifically focusing on integrated graphics as well as high-end discrete graphics solutions, according to the Intel press release.
