Development of Eve: Valkyrie, the space combat game from the team behind the massively multiplayer game Eve Online, is being halted. According to an interview given to the Iceland Monitor, chief executive officer Hilmar Veigar Pétursson says the game is being put “on the shelf.” Some 100 employees and multiple studios will be affected.

Pétursson went on the say that CCP would step out of the VR market entirely for the next two or three years.
