The GeForce GTX 1060 is operating in the mid-tier of Nvidia's current Pascal graphics cards, and it's about on par with the performance of the GTX 980 at the moment. The GTX 980 still wins out in some circumstances, but as we move forward and developers continue to take advantage of the hardware features of Pascal, we should be seeing better and better performance out of the GTX 1060.

There are two GTX 1060 options available, one with 6GB of VRAM, the other with 3GB of VRAM. Obviously the one with less VRAM is less powerful, but also less expensive, so it all depends on your budget. Sitting around the $250 - $350 price range, both cards offer really good value for money. If you want to know exactly what we think of the GTX 1060, make sure to check out the PC Gamer review.
