Super Mario Odyssey, the latest game starring Mario released last week in all regions on Nintendo Switch, is setting out to be a smashing success, judging from how much the game sold in just a few days of availability.

In Nintendo’s latest financial briefing, the Japanese company estimates that game sales exceed 2 million units in its first 3 days of availability. Sales for both the game and the Nintendo Switch ( Amazon, $299.96) are expected to increase with the holiday season sales.
