In 2019, the Wii Shop Channel and its iconic music will come to an end.

A statement from Nintendo says that Wii owners will be able to purchase content from the Wii Shop Channel until Jan. 30, 2019. At some point after, Nintendo will close “all services related to the Wii Shop Channel, including redownloading purchased WiiWare, Virtual Console titles, and Wii Channel, as well as Wii System Transfer Tool, which transfers data from Wii to the Wii U system.”
