Last week Sony and developer Housemarque unveiled Returnal: Ascension, a free expansion that adds a new endless dungeon, the Tower of Sisyphus, as well as co-op play. Now Housemarque has released 20 minutes of Tower of Sisyphus gameplay, that really provides a clear picture of how the new challenge works. We get a peek at some intense battles, including against the intimidating tentacled boss Algos, new weapons, and more. Interestingly, the tower will also include a new story area, similar to the House from the original game. This time around you’ll get to explore a mysterious hospital – what secrets will you find there? You’ll just have to play and find out. You can check out the new Returnal: Ascension gameplay, below.
