Update:  We've known for a while now that Shadow of War will feature loot boxes that can be purchased using real-world money. Purchasable from an in-game store, these loot boxes will contain things such as orcs, gear, and XP boosts which will help Talion level up faster.

Although Warner Bros. has assured fans that players who pay for content will not get anything that's unavailable to everyone else through simply playing the game, many have taken umbrage with the fact that it'll be possible to take shortcuts by paying money.
