Sony has released a small PlayStation 4 firmware beta 5.0 update, which should address the software limitations for beta 5.0 users caused by the 4.74 update.
Last week’s PS4 4.74 firmware update caused some issues for those running the 5.0 beta firmware. Various beta users reported crashes and bugs due to the new update, after which Sony sent out an official e-mail to those running the 5.0 Beta firmware warning them for various “limitations” when updating (or downgrading?) to 4.74:
