Last year’s release of The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Special Edition on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One brought some form of mod support. The Nintendo Switch release, based on the Special Edition, isn’t even going to get what the other two consoles received, at least at launch.
Speaking with US Gamer, Bethesda’s Pete Hines confirmed that mod support for The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Switch is not being planned at this time. This confirmation isn’t exactly surprising, knowing Nintendo’s stance on the matter, still, it’s definitely disappointing for those who expected even just minimal support.
