It may come as little or no surprise, but Microsoft has now officially confirmed that it has ceased production of the original Xbox One model. A spokesperson told Rolling Stone's Glixel that it stopped making new original Xbox One models last summer when the Xbox One S model came out.

"As is typical for the console industry, we stopped manufacturing the original Xbox One when we introduced Xbox One S," a spokesperson said.
