Project xCloud, Microsoft's Xbox game streaming service, recently got its library of compatible games greatly expanded. During the X019 event in London, Microsoft's Kareem Choudry (corporate vice president of Gaming Cloud) and Catherine Gluckstein (general manager of Project xCloud) also revealed plans for expanding the beta preview to Western Europe, Canada, Japan, and India at some point next year.

Speaking to GamesIndustry, the two executives later discussed how the beta preview launched last month has been going so far. Choudry said participants are particularly keen on using the service to sort of replicate the 'couch co-op' experience in those games that don't natively support that.
