Nintendo has just released Super Mario Maker 2 update 1.1.0 which adds online co-op and versus multiplayer play.

The brand-new update dropped out of nowhere and allows players to play with friends in either Multiplayer Versus or Co-op multiplayer modes. In addition, the 1.1.0 update adds wireless LAN play and comes with a list of Official Makers in the Leaderboards Section where players can find new courses as well as special courses created for collaborations or special events.
