After the CHG90 model released last year, Samsung is adding a new model to the 49″ Ultrawide 32:9 Gaming Monitor line with the newly announced CRG9.

The main improvement over the previous iteration is the increased resolution. Whereas the CHG90 had a native resolution of 3820×1080 equivalent to two double Full HD displays, the CRG9 features a native 5120×1440 resolution that’s equivalent to two QHD (1440p) displays.
