Nintendo Switch owners have some fantastic indie games, both new and a little old, to look forward to this week. Coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop over the next seven days are the lush puzzle-platformer Gris, the narrative adventure Firewatch and the dialogue-driven short story Quarantine Circular.

So, yes, it’s an eclectic week led by great games from indie developers. But there are plenty of retro games for Switch owners who prefer their games pixelated. There’s the Arcade Archives releases of Twinkle Star Sprites, the competitive shoot ’em up for Neo Geo (and the game that inspired last week’s Switch release Rival Megagun), and Double Dragon 2: The Revenge; Atari Flashback Classics packs in 150 arcade and console games from the Atari era; and Sega has a re-release of the original Phantasy Star, which has been given the Sega Ages treatment.
