Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has a new adventure mode, World of Light, that’s a lot different from those of games past. While this has a story, much like Subspace Emissary did, don’t expect it to be much like that plot-heavy (if you can call it that) campaign. Instead, adventure mode serves to explain how the spirits of Spirits Mode came to be.

A trailer ending the Nintendo Direct dedicated to the game is extremely anxiety-inducing ... because all of our favorite characters die, basically, after being attacked by a series of Master Hands.
