Games Workshop launched the eighth edition of its flagship Warhammer 40,000 tabletop miniatures game just last year. Since then, the U.K.-based game developer and manufacturer has introduced a taller, more expressive version of the iconic Space Marine, and a slimmed-down version of the famously expensive wargame called Kill Team. Now GW is celebrating “Orktober,” and taking the opportunity to lift the veil off a revamp of another famous faction, the green-skinned Orks.

Orks in 40K are a curious bunch. They’re known for their ability to reproduce quickly, and armies often focus on fielding massive numbers to win the day. But Orks are also known for their technical ingenuity, repurposing scrap that they find all over the galaxy to concoct fast and often unpredictable war machines.
