Huawei announced the new Mate 20 series during an event yesterday. Of the three smartphones revealed, we’re most interested in the 20 X since Huawei is positioning the device firmly as gaming-focused (which our colleagues from the mobile section already suggested in a previous report).

Furthermore, during the presentation, Huawei directly put the Huawei Mate 20 X against the Nintendo Switch and called its smartphone a ‘better portable gaming machine’ than Nintendo’s latest hybrid handheld/home console system.
